Abstract

Amid increasingly fierce business competition, MSMEs face the challenge of remaining competitive. To address this challenge, strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness, especially in production, are crucial. This study was conducted to evaluate the productivity index and sales of bead bracelets in Bertaaut, with a focus on increasing production. The method used was the Objective Matrix (OMAX), which consists of several steps such as Defining, Quantifying (with assessments at levels 0, 3, and 10), and Monitoring (through Score, Weight, and Performance Indicator). The results of the study show that productivity peaked in August 2025 with an index of 248.10%, while the lowest point occurred in April 2025 with an index of 57.50%. The increase in the productivity index is closely related to production efficiency, such as the role of operators, the use of labor, raw materials, and electricity. Cause-and-effect analysis shows that uncertain stock storage periods have a major impact on production results. In addition to reducing production volume, problems with stock storage can also disrupt normal working hours, thereby reducing overall production effectiveness.
