This study aims to analyze coal stockpiling management in the Stock ROM area to minimize contaminants at PT Tri Oetama Persada, Batapah Village, Timpah District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. Coal contamination is a significant issue caused by suboptimal mining, hauling, and stockpiling processes, which may reduce coal quality. This research uses a descriptive quantitative method through field observations, documentation, and analysis of primary and secondary company data. The analysis focuses on stockpiling patterns, management systems, contamination factors, and field implementation. The results indicate that the Stock ROM applies the Chevcon stockpiling pattern with a FIFO (First In First Out) system. However, several problems were identified, including ineffective FIFO implementation, excessive coal pile height, and limited supervision during stacking and reclaiming activities. Contamination factors include poor ROM base conditions, water accumulation, foreign material contamination, and inadequate cleaning and recovery processes. Minimizing efforts include improving FIFO supervision, optimizing Stock ROM design and maintenance, separating materials during stockpiling, and conducting routine temperature and cleanliness monitoring. Improved management practices are expected to maintain coal quality and reduce contamination risks.
