Organizational commitment is essential for improving employee performance and reducing turnover. However, previous studies have reported inconsistent findings regarding the effects of psychological empowerment and learning orientation on organizational commitment. This study examines the mediating role of job embeddedness in these relationships. A quantitative approach was employed using a census of 327 employees from palm oil companies in West Sumatra. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that psychological empowerment and learning orientation positively and significantly affect organizational commitment and job embeddedness. Job embeddedness also has a significant positive effect on organizational commitment and partially mediates the relationships between psychological empowerment, learning orientation, and organizational commitment. These findings suggest that strengthening employees' psychological empowerment and fostering a learning-oriented environment can enhance job embeddedness and organizational commitment.
