This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of character development in companies and its influence on employee behavior, organizational culture, and organizational effectiveness. The study employed a quantitative descriptive-correlational design using questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis. The respondents consisted of 180 employees from medium-sized and large companies that had implemented character development and ethics programs. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results showed that character development significantly improved employees’ integrity, discipline, responsibility, professionalism, and ethical behavior. Social factors, including leadership role models, teamwork, interpersonal communication, and organizational support, also enhanced the effectiveness of character development. A culture-based approach was found to be the most effective strategy. Integrating character development with organizational culture and leadership contributed positively to organizational effectiveness, fostered a sustainable ethical culture, and improved employee professionalism.
