Abstract

General Background Elementary education serves as a fundamental frontline component in identifying and fostering student learning interests and talents before higher educational levels. Specific Background This research investigates the development of multitalent-based education at Mumtaz Elementary School, which implements a multitalent program adapted from the national education curriculum and the East Java Regional Dikdasmen curriculum. Knowledge Gap Previous literature lacks detailed qualitative assessments regarding how comprehensive school multitalent systems integrate infrastructure improvements, inclusive special needs provisions, and structured staging frameworks to nurture student potential. Aims This research was conducted with the aim of understanding the development of multitalent-based education at Mumtaz Elementary School. Results The qualitative findings indicate that the multitalent education program has developed through infrastructure upgrades, system enhancements, and inclusive provisions for special needs students, successfully producing character-driven students with national and international achievements. Novelty The integration of thirty talent classes spanning six distinct fields with inclusive special needs participation and structured sequential stages provides an effective model for holistic student talent cultivation. Implications These findings indicate that structured multitalent educational frameworks serve as a viable model for elementary institutions seeking to optimize student competencies and secure academic and non-academic achievements. Highlghts: Multitalent programs operate through seven sequential stages including talent identification, coaching, talent shows on the road, competitions, exposure, soft skills development, and appreciation. Inclusive education implementation ensures that special needs students actively participate in specialized and general talent classes to foster social and sensory development. Systematic program execution across six categories—al-islam, academic, sports, life skills, language, and arts—drives significant increases in local, national, and international achievements.
