Mosques occupy a highly significant position in the lives of Muslim communities. Their role extends beyond serving merely as places of ritual worship to functioning as social spaces that contribute to the nurturing and enhancement of community quality. In rural contexts, mosques frequently act as centers of religious activities as well as arenas for social interaction, shaping values, attitudes, and patterns of communal life. This study aims to examine the role of mosques in fostering a religious community that is spiritually and physically healthy, emotionally and intellectually developed, and supportive of social welfare in Sembalun Village. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through field observations of mosque activities. The findings reveal that mosques in Sembalun Village serve as centers for religious education, spiritual development, social engagement, and community-based economic empowerment.
