<![CDATA[The rapid development of digital technology has significantly increased gadget use among elementary school children, including students at SDN Pundungan, Juwiring District, Klaten Regency. Preliminary observations by the KKN (community service) team revealed that most students were already accustomed to using gadgets for playing games, watching videos, and accessing social media, yet lacked understanding of wise usage practices such as managing screen time, selecting age-appropriate content, and maintaining digital safety. In response to this issue, a community outreach program titled "Wise Gadget Use: Safe, Smart, and Responsible" was conducted, involving 86 students from grades IV, V, and VI. The activity was carried out through PowerPoint presentations, educational videos, and interactive question-and-answer sessions, covering topics such as the benefits of gadgets, time management, content selection, digital security, and responsible usage. The results showed active student participation during the interactive sessions, although improvements in understanding could not be measured quantitatively, as no pre-test or post-test instruments were used. This activity serves as an initial step toward strengthening digital literacy among elementary school students and needs to be followed up with ongoing guidance from teachers and parents.]]>
