<![CDATA[The shipbuilding industry faces increasing challenges in balancing productivity, occupational safety, environmental sustainability, and technological advancement. Integrating engineering management and ergonomics has emerged as a strategic approach to improving operational performance while supporting sustainable industrial development. This study systematically reviews the existing literature on the integration of engineering management and ergonomics in sustainable shipbuilding using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA 2020) framework. The review covers peer-reviewed journal articles published between January 2015 and December 2025 retrieved from major scientific databases. The selected studies were analyzed through narrative and thematic synthesis to identify research trends, engineering management practices, ergonomic applications, sustainability dimensions, implementation challenges, and future research opportunities. The review demonstrates that integrating engineering management with physical, cognitive, and organizational ergonomics enhances productivity, occupational safety, decision-making, and resource efficiency while supporting environmental and social sustainability. The findings provide a comprehensive knowledge base for researchers and industry practitioners seeking to develop safer, more efficient, and sustainable shipbuilding systems.]]>
