This study was motivated by the suboptimal social skills of children and the limited use of varied media in social skill stimulation activities within early childhood education institutions. Children still struggled with peer interaction, lacked respect for peers, were unable to cooperate, lacked patience in waiting for their turn, and were inconsistent in following rules during group activities. The learning activities and media provided lacked variety, causing children to become bored quickly. This study aimed to determine the effect of Smart TV-based puzzle games on the social skills of children at Nurul Huda Kindergarten. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed. The sample consisted of 28 children—14 in class B1 (experimental group) and 14 in class B2 (control group)—selected using total sampling. Data were collected through observation and performance tests based on four indicators: the ability to cooperate in completing the game, the willingness to attempt challenges, the ability to accept results sportingly, and the ability to perform activities within the allotted time. The study procedure involved one pre-test, three treatment sessions, and one post-test. Data analysis utilized normality tests, homogeneity tests, and an independent samples t-test. The mean score of the experimental group increased from 5.79 to 10.36, while the control group increased from 5.93 to 9.29. The independent samples t-test yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.009, which is less than 0.05. Consequently, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The results indicate that Smart TV-based puzzle games have a significant effect on the social skills of children at Nurul Huda Kindergarten.
