Drug abuse and alcohol consumption among adolescents remain significant social problems in RT 06, Pasar Mulia Village, Pasar Manna District, South Bengkulu Regency. A location within the area has frequently been used for drug abuse, alcohol consumption, and drug trafficking, while community supervision remains limited. This paper aims to describe efforts to prevent drug abuse through the construction of a neighborhood security post (Poskamling) as a form of community empowerment. The study employed a descriptive method with a participatory approach, including field observations, coordination with neighborhood leaders and local residents, procurement of construction materials, and the collaborative construction of the security post on June 27 and 29, 2026, in RT 06, Pasar Mulia Village. The results indicate that the construction of the Poskamling successfully provided a facility for neighborhood night patrols, enhanced environmental monitoring, strengthened community participation in maintaining public security, and served as a preventive measure against drug abuse, alcohol consumption, and other negative activities. The presence of the Poskamling is expected to contribute to a safer, more orderly, and conducive community environment through sustained public participation.
