Abstract: This study aims to analyze the strengthening of governance in Tembaga Village Government, Mahap District, Sekadau Regency, using a qualitative research method. The results indicate that strengthening the governance of Tembaga Village Government needs to be carried out continuously through improving transparency in the delivery of public information, strengthening accountability systems in the implementation of programs and village budget management, and enhancing the responsiveness of village officials in providing services that meet community needs. Therefore, the village government is expected to continuously develop governance practices that are transparent, professional, and accountable through active community involvement in the processes of planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of village government administration. These efforts represent strategic steps toward realizing an effective, accountable, and community-oriented village government aimed at improving public welfare.
