<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the influence of supervision and village official competence on the effectiveness of village fund management in Johan Pahlawan District, West Aceh Regency. Effective village fund management is crucial for achieving village governance that is transparent, accountable, and compliant with applicable regulations. This study employs a quantitative approach using an associative method. Primary data were obtained through questionnaires distributed to 63 respondents—comprising village heads, village secretaries, and village treasurers—across 21 villages in Johan Pahlawan District. Data analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that supervision does not influence the effectiveness of village fund management, whereas village official competence does have an impact. This suggests that higher competence among village officials leads to more effective village fund management, while the intensity of supervision currently implemented has not significantly contributed to enhancing management effectiveness. This study is expected to serve as a basis for evaluation by village governments to improve the quality of village fund management in the future.]]>
