This study aims to improve teacher competence through the implementation of collaborative strategies at MAN 8 Pidie. This research uses the Madrasah Action Research (PTM) method which is implemented in several cycles, with each cycle including the planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects are the teachers at MAN 8 Pidie who participated in the collaborative strategy. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation, and assessment of teacher competency before and after implementing the action. The data was analyzed descriptively by comparing the level of teacher competency in each cycle. The results of the study showed an increase in teacher competence after implementing collaborative strategies. Improvements are seen in teacher involvement in collaborative activities, the ability to share experiences and knowledge, the preparation of learning tools, and better implementation of learning. Thus, collaborative strategies can be an effective alternative in improving teacher competency at MAN 8 Pidie.
