<![CDATA[This study aimed to develop a valid, practical, and effective positive psychology-based group guidance service model to enhance student resilience at SMP Negeri 32 Muaro Jambi. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapting development stages that included needs analysis, model design, expert validation, limited trials, model revision, field testing, and effectiveness evaluation. Research subjects included guidance and counseling experts, guidance and counseling teachers, and 7th- and 8th-grade students from SMP Negeri 32 Muaro Jambi, purposively selected in alignment with the research objectives. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and a resilience scale, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results indicated that the developed model achieved a very high level of validity based on expert assessment, with an average feasibility rating of 92.6%, and was highly practical based on responses from guidance and counseling teachers and students, with an average rating of 90.8%. Furthermore, the model was effective in enhancing student resilience; the average resilience score improved from the moderate to the high category after participation in the positive psychology-based group guidance service, and statistical tests revealed a significant difference between pre- and post-intervention scores (p < 0.05). These findings demonstrate that the developed model is suitable for use as a guidance and counseling innovation to strengthen the resilience of 7th- and 8th-grade junior high school students.]]>
