One of the challenges faced by sea transportation in Indonesia in supporting national and global economic growth is the high operational costs of ship agency services and berthing costs during the clearance in and out process at ports. This issue impacts reduced profitability and increased operational expenses for ship agency companies. This study aims to determine the influence of berthing costs and operational costs on the clearance in and out process of ships. The research was conducted using a quantitative method and analyzed with SPSS version 27. The results indicate that berthing costs and operational costs significantly affect the clearance in and out process. Partially, berthing costs contribute 18.8%, while operational costs contribute 55.6% to the clearance in and out process.
