The research problem in this study is whether training and leadership style have an influence on the performance of employees at the Department of Manpower in Medan City. The objective of this study is to analyze the extent to which training and leadership style affect employee performance within the institution. This research employs a quantitative approach with a total population and sample of 70 employees. Data processing was carried out using SPSS version 20. The data analysis techniques include multiple linear regression, data quality tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing. The findings indicate that training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as does leadership style, which also has a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, both training and leadership style contribute positively and significantly to the improvement of employee performance at the Department of Manpower in Medan City.
