Companies engaged in engineering must continue to develop in order to keep up with the increasingly rapid pace of technological progress. Intelligent humans are the main drivers of the company, and this change occurs for several reasons, one of which is the increasingly rapid rate of scientific discovery. This qualitative research uses a literature review approach or literature study as its research methodology. The management of the land border areas of West Kalimantan and Sarawak faces several challenges, namely: 6) Inadequate human resources (HR), 5) Unclear authority and coordination, 6) The border area is still underdeveloped, 7) Geographical limitations, 8) Inconsistency between planning and implementation. The results of this study indicate that the HR improvement initiative of PT. Bank Kalbar is in accordance with the current theoretical framework. To respond to this threat, Bank Kalbar seeks to mobilize all its resources to train and improve the human resources (HR) of its staff through various seminars, workshops, and other activities.
