This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach that aims to understand in depth how the use of the Mobile JKN application affects the effectiveness of the patient registration process at PKU Muhammadiyah Sekapuk Hospital. This type of research was chosen because the focus of the study is to explore the experiences, perceptions, and obstacles and conveniences felt by patients and administrative officers in utilizing the Mobile JKN application as a registration medium. This study uses data from interviews, observations of sales interactions and documentation of sales reports are also used to enrich the research data. This study uses a purposive sampling technique. The data obtained were then analyzed using thematic analysis methods, where various main themes related to the effectiveness, obstacles, and impacts of the two strategies were identified. Based on the results of interviews with JKN participant patients and administrative registration staff at PKU Muhammadiyah Sekapuk Hospital, it can be concluded that the use of the Mobile JKN application has a positive contribution to increasing the effectiveness of the patient registration process. This application makes it easier for patients to access online queue services, reduces waiting times at the hospital, and supports efforts to digitize health services more efficiently and quickly.
