<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze in depth the influence of economic growth, per capita income, and the Human Development Index (HDI) on poverty levels in Nias Regency, North Sumatra Province. Nias Regency is one of the regions with the highest poverty rates in the province, despite having various economic potentials, especially in the agriculture, fisheries, and tourism sectors. The imbalance between resource potential and the level of community welfare encourages the need for a comprehensive study to determine the factors that influence poverty empirically. This study uses a quantitative approach with a multiple linear regression analysis method. The data used are secondary data sourced from the official publications of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Nias Regency and North Sumatra Province, covering the period from 2009 to 2023. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously the three independent variables, namely economic growth, per capita income, and HDI, have a significant influence on poverty levels. Partially, each of these variables shows a significant negative influence, which means that improvements in these three aspects contribute to a decrease in poverty levels in the region. In other words, the higher the economic growth, the higher the per capita income, and the better the quality of human development, the lower the poverty rate. Based on these findings, the study recommends that local governments strengthen development policies focused on improving the quality of human resources through education and health, encourage inclusive and sustainable economic growth, and create a more equitable income distribution system to accelerate poverty alleviation systematically and sustainably.]]>
