<![CDATA[he existence of Hylobates moloch (Javan Gibbon) endemic in conservation forests in Ujung Kulon National Park, Halimun Mountain, Gede Pangrango Mountain, Mount Simpang Nature Reserve, and Leuweung Sancang is endangered according to the IUCN. The research aims to study the behavior and characteristics of the Javan Gibbon in Quarantine Ragunan Zoological Park (RZP). Qualitative method used in the study is direct observation of Javan Gibbon behavior by: a) description, b) ad libitum, c) focal sampling, and d) scan sampling. Javan daily activities including eating and drinking, moving, resting, and socializing at the Quarantine RZP basically are similar to behavior of Javan Gibbons in their natural habitat as well as in the Rescue and Rehabilitation Center Owa Jawa (Javan Gibbon Center), National Park of Mount Gede Pangrango. The similarity of Javan Gibbon daily activities, indicating that preservation of Javan Gibbon in Quarantine RZP should be succesful and become good in breeding.]]>
