<![CDATA[This study aims at finding out (1) the characteristics of project assessment in assessing learning outcomes of grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng, (2) whether or not project assessment is valid to assess learning outcomes of grade X students of SMANegeri 1 Bantaeng, (3) the learning outcomes of grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng in using project assessment.. This research is a research development which refers to Plomp Development Model. Project assessment consists of an instrument of assessment in planning the project, assessment rubrics of the planning and implementation, assessment rubrics of product reports, assessment rubric of video products. The results of this study indicated that (1) project assessment has characteristics : at the pre-investigation phase, there were some problems appeared in project assignment in case of unsystematic assessment process. At the design phase, there were project assessment. At the realization phase, there were prototype I. At the evaluation phase, therewere a project assessment which assess the phase of planning, implementation, and evaluation. (2) The Development of Project assessment can be categorized as a valid criteria so it can be feasible to used, (3) the learning outcomes of grade X students of SMA Negeri 1 Bantaeng in using project assessment is in high category.]]>
