Fish feed is the most important part of the success of a fish farming. In general, the quality of feed is considered to spur increased growth. However, it is time for fish feed innovations that can also increase fish resistance to exposure to pollution. The purpose of this study was to determine the bacteria in the digestive tract of tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) from Rawa Biru Merauke and to determine the effect of the dose of probiotics on the growth of tilapia. This research was conducted at the Laboratory of Aquatic Resources Management, Faculty of Agriculture, Musamus University and the Laboratory of Fish Quarantine Station for Quality Control and Safety of Fishery Products Class II Merauke. This study was conducted in a completely randomized design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. Based on the research results, the probiotics found in the intestines of tilapia are Lactobacillussp. Feed + Probiotic X. 20 ml/Kg feed + molasses 10 v/v probiotic is the best combination. The addition of probiotics to commercial pellets can be used as an immunostimulant, this is proven by the increase in weight and length of fish kept in aquariums. The potential of tilapia fish offal as an immunostimulant needs to be continuously studied to be applied to fish farmers to suppress the use of antibiotics in disease control efforts, and increase tilapia production in Merauke Regency.
