<![CDATA[This study was conducted based on the problem of the low biographical text writing skills of tenth-grade students at SMK Tiara Bangsa, particularly in developing ideas, organizing the structure of biographical texts, and applying appropriate language features. This study aimed to describe students' biographical text writing skills before and after the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by film media, as well as to analyze the effect of the model on improving students' writing skills. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The participants consisted of 19 tenth-grade students of the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program at SMK Tiara Bangsa, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through writing tests, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and the Paired Sample t-test with IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The findings indicated that the students' mean score increased from 68.79 in the pretest to 75.11 in the posttest, representing an improvement of 6.32 points. The normality test showed that both datasets were normally distributed (Sig. > 0.05), while the Paired Sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (Sig. < 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by film media had a significant effect on improving the biographical text writing skills of tenth-grade students at SMK Tiara Bangsa.]]>
