Abstract

This research aims to analyze the management dynamics of Koperasi Merah Putih (KMP) Tipar, which was established through a Top-Down approach based on central government instructions. The main issue addressed is the gap between government structural policies and the sociological readiness and Human Resources (HR) capacity at the village level, which implies low community trust due to the historical trauma of past cooperative failures. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with cooperative management, field observations, and literature analysis of 15 related journal references. The results show that KMP Tipar is currently in the "Lelengkah Halu" phase, where operations are still manual and the digital system (Simkopdes) has not been optimally implemented due to limited digital literacy. The strategy for strengthening community trust is carried out through the development of real business units (LPG gas) and the application of profit-sharing transparency (50:50). This study concludes that the success of top-down cooperatives highly depends on strengthening social capital and synchronizing government instructions with local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of cooperatives in developing a culture of mutual cooperation as a strategy to popularize cooperative life in local communities. Gotong royong, as a socio-cultural value of Indonesian society, faces challenges due to modernization, individualism, and changes in economic orientation, which have resulted in a decline in collective community participation. Cooperatives, as economic institutions based on family and economic democracy, have strategic potential to revitalize these values ​​in community socio-economic practices. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation with cooperative administrators, active members, and community leaders. Data validity was maintained through source triangulation. The results show that the culture of mutual cooperation in local communities is still developing, although it has experienced shifts in form and intensity. Cooperative life practices are running quite well in the economic aspect, but member social participation still needs to be strengthened. The cooperative administrators' strategy in internalizing the value of mutual cooperation is carried out through a family approach, management transparency, and participatory communication. The main supporting factors for the development of a culture of mutual cooperation include social trust and perceived economic benefits for members, while the inhibiting factors are low cooperative value literacy and members' limited time. This study concludes that cooperatives play a crucial role as a medium for strengthening the values ​​of togetherness and social solidarity, and have a significant contribution to popularizing cooperative life in local communities.

Abstract

Cooperatives were originally designed as a form of joint venture based on the principle of family and the spirit of mutual cooperation, thus playing a strategic role in efforts to empower the people's economy. However, in practice, the role of cooperatives is often not optimal and does not fully provide tangible benefits to its members. This article aims to comprehensively examine the characteristics of cooperatives and their relevance as an instrument for empowering the people's economy. This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data were obtained from various library sources, such as scientific journals, reference books, and regulations related to cooperatives relevant to the research topic. All data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis to understand the concept, values, and practices of cooperatives in depth. The results of the study indicate that the characteristics of cooperatives, such as the principle of family, voluntary and open membership, democratic management, and fair distribution of Business Surplus, are the main strengths of cooperatives in increasing access to capital, strengthening the bargaining position of members, and encouraging increased economic capacity of the community. Nevertheless, cooperatives still face various challenges, including low member participation, weak governance, and limited human resources. Therefore, sustainable efforts are needed to strengthen the characteristics of cooperatives through increased management capacity, member education, and supportive government policies, without losing the cooperative's identity as a people's economic movement.

Abstract

Cooperatives are membership-based economic institutions that have an important role in improving the welfare of members and supporting the economic development of the community. However, there are still many cooperatives that face performance problems due to weak organizational governance, especially in the aspect of organizational structure. This study aims to analyze the role of organizational structure design in encouraging the effectiveness and efficiency of cooperative performance. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design on the Baitul Maal Ibaadurrahman Cooperative (BMT Ibaadurrahman) Sukabumi City. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, while data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña models which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that a clearly and systematically designed organizational structure is able to increase the effectiveness of achieving cooperative goals and efficiency in resource utilization. Clarity of task division, structured coordination mechanisms, and work specialization help minimize overlap of work and speed up the decision-making process. In addition, the alignment between formal organizational structures and managerial practices in the field also strengthens the internal supervisory function and increases the accountability of cooperative management. Thus, the design of the right organizational structure is an important factor in improving performance and maintaining the sustainability of cooperatives in the midst of the dynamics of the business environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze in depth the roles of the board of directors and supervisors in enhancing the effectiveness of cooperative organizational systems. Organizational effectiveness is a crucial pillar for cooperatives to face complex economic competition and digital transformation. Using a descriptive qualitative method, this research focuses on a case study of the PC Invest Group Sukabumi Branch. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies, and then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model.The results indicate that organizational effectiveness heavily relies on the functional synergy between the board of directors and supervisors. The board plays a central role in strategic planning, transparent decision-making, and managing diversified business units. Meanwhile, supervisors perform a check-and-balance function to ensure regulatory compliance and minimize the risk of business failure. Field findings emphasize that professionalism based on industry experience and management transparency are key to rebuilding member trust amidst negative public stigma toward cooperatives. The study concludes that strengthening competency standards and modernizing management are urgent necessities for Indonesian cooperatives to become adaptive, accountable, and sustainable economic institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze local government strategies in implementing public policies to support sustainable development. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at the Sukabumi City Government. Informants were selected using purposive sampling and included local government officials, members of the regional legislative council, academics, and community leaders. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, while data analysis followed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The findings indicate that effective public policy implementation is supported by strengthening good governance, enhancing institutional capacity, adopting collaborative governance, promoting public service innovation, and accelerating digital government transformation. These strategies have improved inter-agency coordination, public service quality, transparency, and stakeholder participation in the development process. However, several challenges remain, including limited cross-sector coordination, inadequate human resource capacity, fragmented information systems, and low public participation in policy evaluation. The study concludes that successful sustainable development requires synergy among good governance, institutional strengthening, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and the continuous utilization of digital technology to improve the effectiveness of public policy implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structural elements and identify the forms of gender inequality experienced by women as portrayed in the novel Di Tanah Lada by Ziggy Zezsyazeoviennazabrizkie. This research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive design using a feminist literary criticism approach. The data source was the novel Di Tanah Lada, while the data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis was conducted by thoroughly reading the novel, identifying, classifying, and interpreting the data, relating the findings to the concepts of feminist literary criticism, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that the novel's structure is developed through characterization, a first-person point of view, and settings that reinforce the development of the conflict. Furthermore, the study identifies several forms of gender inequality experienced by the female characters, Helen and Salva, including violence, gender stereotyping, women as intellectual individuals, economic constraints, and women's rejection of their position as the "Other." The study concludes that Di Tanah Lada represents a critique of gender inequality by portraying the experiences of female characters who endure oppression while demonstrating resistance to preserve their dignity, autonomy, and freedom.

Abstract

Based on the researcher's observations at the school, many students' learning outcomes in the correspondence material did not meet the Minimum Mastery Criterion (KKM). Therefore, this study was conducted to examine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students' learning outcomes. The objective of this study was to determine the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on students' learning outcomes in correspondence material at SMK Bangun Bangsa Mandiri. This research employed a quantitative approach using a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The population consisted of all 38 Grade XI students at SMK Bangun Bangsa Mandiri, including students from the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) and Visual Communication Design (DKV) programs. Data were collected through pretests and posttests, classroom observations, documentation, and project assessments. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. The findings revealed that the mean pretest score was 62.17, while the mean posttest score increased to 74.87, indicating an improvement of 12.70 points in students' learning outcomes. The study concludes that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model has a significant positive effect on students' learning outcomes in correspondence material at SMK Bangun Bangsa Mandiri.

Abstract

Writing is a productive and expressive language skill. Through writing, individuals can articulate ideas, concepts, feelings, and experiences in an organized and meaningful written form. Writing proficiency does not develop automatically; it requires cultivation through effective instruction. One applicable approach is the Deep Learning approach integrated with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model—a method characterized by active, meaningful, and student-centered learning achieved through project completion. This study aims to analyze the impact of the Deep Learning approach, implemented via the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model, on the descriptive text writing skills of Grade IX students at MTs Nurul Islam Kalibunder during the 2026/2027 academic year. The study employed a quantitative method using a posttest-only control group design, wherein the experimental class received instruction utilizing the Deep Learning approach combined with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model. Posttest results revealed an average score of 63.41 for the control class, whereas the experimental class achieved an average of 90.17. Furthermore, the t-test indicated statistical significance (p < 0.05), with the calculated t-value exceeding the t-table value (t_calc > t_table), thereby demonstrating that the Deep Learning approach combined with the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model significantly improves students' writing skills.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the problem of the low biographical text writing skills of tenth-grade students at SMK Tiara Bangsa, particularly in developing ideas, organizing the structure of biographical texts, and applying appropriate language features. This study aimed to describe students' biographical text writing skills before and after the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by film media, as well as to analyze the effect of the model on improving students' writing skills. The study employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental method with a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The participants consisted of 19 tenth-grade students of the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program at SMK Tiara Bangsa, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through writing tests, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro–Wilk normality test, and the Paired Sample t-test with IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The findings indicated that the students' mean score increased from 68.79 in the pretest to 75.11 in the posttest, representing an improvement of 6.32 points. The normality test showed that both datasets were normally distributed (Sig. > 0.05), while the Paired Sample t-test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (Sig. < 0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model assisted by film media had a significant effect on improving the biographical text writing skills of tenth-grade students at SMK Tiara Bangsa.
