<![CDATA[Religion has an important role in social life. Where religion can have a significant influence on thinking or ideology to the order of social life. Religion's participation in shaping social change has many positive effects as well as in politics. This can be seen in how the comparison of political conditions in the past to the present. The participation of religious leaders has always appealed to the community by instilling theological values in their movements. In this article, the author uses a descriptive qualitative method by examining the data obtained through literature study of the data using discourse analysis techniques and hermeneutic analysis techniques. Furthermore, in the interpretation process the author uses historical, sociological, philosophical and theological approaches. The results show that religious participation has a major impact on the politics of social change.]]>
