<![CDATA[In the contemporary digital era, the intersection between religiosity and mental health has acquired renewed significance. The pervasive influence of technology, social media, and digital communication has transformed how individuals experience, express, and sustain their religious beliefs alongside their psychological well-being.Today, digital platforms have redefined traditional expressions of faith creating new avenues for worship, religious education, and community building while simultaneously introducing challenges such as online religious extremism, misinformation, and the commercialization of spirituality. Empirical research indicates that religiosity often acts as a protective factor against stress, anxiety, and depression by providing individuals with meaning, hope, and a sense of belonging. However, constant exposure to digital stimuli can fragment attention, heighten anxiety, and diminish contemplative practices vital for inner peace. This study explores how religiosity functions as both a protective and adaptive mechanism for mental health in the digital age enhancing coping strategies, nurturing moral awareness, and providing existential grounding. Conversely, it also examines how excessive digital engagement and the commodification of faith may lead to spiritual fatigue, alienation, and emotional distress. Integrating insights from psychology, neuroscience, and digital sociology, the paper emphasizes the importance of harmonizing spiritual values with mindful digital engagement.
