<![CDATA[Street lighting is one of the important facilities, to provide comfort and safety for road users at night. The road connecting Dempul-Plaosan Village has no street lighting so that at night it is very dark and prone to accidents and robberies. The location of this road is surrounded by rice fields and sugar cane fields. Geographical factors, the weather tends to be dry and hot, so it has the potential to install solar cells. In determining the potential of solar energy as a source of street lighting, data is obtained from BMKG, calculating practical equations, and designing simulations using PSIM. In this study, it was found that with a daily requirement of 3.24 kWh, a total of 15 50Wp solar panels were needed and the duration of radiation was around 9 hours with an area of 5.25 m2 to meet the needs of street lighting.]]>
