This study aims to determine the effect of footwork training on the agility of badminton athletes at the Muratara Badminton Club. The study used a quantitative descriptive approach with a pure experiment and a pre-test and post-test control group design. Data collection was conducted through badminton agility tests. Data analysis used quantitative techniques. The study population was all 30 Muratara Badminton Club athletes. The study sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, consisting of 14 athletes divided into two groups: 7 athletes in the experimental group and 7 athletes in the control group. The experimental group received treatment in the form of footwork training, while the control group used conventional training methods. Based on the t-test results, the calculated t value was 8.682, which is greater than the t table value of 2.179 at a significance level of 5% (df = 12). The Sig. value (0.000 < 0.05) indicates a significant difference between the average agility of the experimental and control groups. Thus, footwork training significantly improved the agility of PB Muratara Badminton Club athletes.
