Bullying is a persistent problem in secondary schools and can negatively impact students' academic, social, and psychological development. In efforts to reduce bullying, teachers play a crucial role as educators, mentors, and role models for students. This study aims to describe the role of teachers in reducing bullying in secondary schools. This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The subjects consisted of teachers and students at a purposively selected secondary school. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that teachers play a role in reducing bullying through several efforts: providing education on the importance of mutual respect, supervising student interactions, providing guidance and counseling to students involved, and collaborating with parents and the school to create a safe and conducive learning environment. However, the implementation of teachers' roles still faces challenges, such as a lack of student awareness and limited supervision time. Therefore, a joint commitment between teachers, schools, and families is needed to prevent and reduce bullying sustainably.
