<![CDATA[As a large nation, Indonesia has a rich and diverse culture that produces various art objects created by humans, including traditional weapons. One example is a cannon, a type of heavy firearm with a large, tubular barrel, using gunpowder or other propellant to fire projectiles. The cannon, as part of the archipelago's traditional weapons heritage, is now part of the collection of the Garuda Sriwijaya Sub-Koss Struggle Museum in Lubuklinggau. This research uses historical methods with steps such as heuristics, verification, interpretation, and historiography. To analyze the data, an archaeological approach is used to examine historical relics to reveal the facts behind these objects. The focus of this research is to classify cannon collections based on historical values. The two cannons discussed in this research are: 1). Langur Tailed Lela Cannon. 2). Kecepek Cannon. These two cannons have different characteristics and designs in terms of technology for making and using firearms in the Malay Archipelago world, so that each has a different function in each use.]]>
