<![CDATA[This research is motivated by the low understanding of basic locomotor movement techniques among third-grade students at MIN 1 Kota Lubuk Linggau, caused by the use of conventional, verbalistic learning methods. The primary objective of this study is to analyze the relationship and effectiveness of using visual media in clarifying basic movement concepts such as walking, running, jumping, and leaping. The research method employed is a quantitative pre- experimental approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design, involving a sample of 16 students. Data were collected through motor skill tests, engagement observations, and response questionnaires. The results showed a significant increase in the students' average scores, from 53.8 in the pretest to 81.4 in the posttest. Statistical analysis using the Paired Sample T-Test yielded a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, confirming a strong positive relationship between the utilization of visual media and the escalation of students' movement understanding.
