This study aims to determine the effectiveness of computer-based interactive video as an instructional medium in improving volleyball smash technique skills among members of the Volleyball Student Activity Unit at Universitas PGRI Silampari. The research employed a pre-experimental design using a One Group Pre-test and Post-test model. The research subjects were students participating in the Volleyball Student Activity Unit. The instrument used was a smash skill test assessing the phases of preparation, take-off, hitting, and landing. The data were analyzed by comparing pretest and posttest results. The findings revealed an improvement in smash technique skills after the implementation of interactive video-based learning. The mean pretest score of 14.5 increased to 20.5 on the posttest, indicating an improvement of 6 points or 41.38%. This improvement was reflected in better movement accuracy, coordination, hitting power, and understanding of the smash technique phases. Therefore, computer-based interactive video is effective as an instructional medium for enhancing volleyball smash techniques among university students.
