<![CDATA[Natural resources are essential for human survival, encompassing economic, social, cultural, and political dimensions. In Islamic thought, nature is considered an amanah (trust) from Allah, requiring responsible stewardship that aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals emphasizing conservation and social justice. This article examines the role of Green Technology in optimizing natural resource management while addressing social challenges arising from cultural adaptation and technology transfer. Employing a qualitative approach with thematic analysis based on Miles and Huberman, the study synthesizes literature and conceptual insights to identify dominant themes. Findings indicate that Green Technology improves efficiency and reduces ecological damage, yet its adoption often encounters resistance due to entrenched cultural practices and limited awareness. Islamic principles of khalifah (stewardship), ‘adl (justice), and mizan (balance) provide ethical grounding for sustainable practices, reinforcing the objectives of global development. The discussion highlights three themes: environmental conservation through technology, social adaptation and negotiation, and integration of Islamic ethics with sustainability frameworks. The implication is that embedding Islamic values into sustainable development strengthens community-based approaches, ensuring ecological balance, social equity, and long-term resilience in resource management.]]>
