Abstract

Social emotional development needs to be developed from an early age because it has a big impact on children's behavior until adulthood. This refers to an individual's ability to understand, manage and express emotions and have independence in life. This research aims to analyze the results of the integration of the Montessori learning method with Islamic activities for children's social emotional development. To fulfill the needs of this research, researchers used qualitative methods with the type of case study or phenomenology. There are three sources of data which are used as research analysis data, observation, interviews and document analysis. Observation data was taken from nineteen children as participants, while interviews were conducted with two teachers, and supported by analysis of the learning outcomes of all children who were the objects of research. Observation data, interviews and documents were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique. Overall, the research found two aspects that occurred to children after going through the learning process. There are four findings in the religious aspect, namely (being able to prepare oneself before worshiping, being orderly when worshiping, being patient through a series of worship services and enjoying reading the Koran). Furthermore, there are two findings on the emotional aspect (cooperation, independence and environmental care and mutual respect). These findings can be used as initial data for future researchers to study this issue more deeply. Apart from that, it serves as a reference guide in developing research related to the social emotional development of early childhood.

Abstract

Training independent habits in early childhood can be done using various methods in the learning process, for example using picture books, hand puppets or teachers telling stories directly to children. This means that teachers need to choose media that is appropriate and interesting for children in learning. In fact, this research aims to analyze the effects Storytelling learning activities using hand puppets to train children's independence. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study type, the data source was taken from fourteen informants consisting of teachers, school principals and children's parents, the informants were selected using techniques porpusive sampling. Furthermore, there were eighteen children as participants who were directly observed learning to use hand puppets. All interview data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique, while data from participants underwent document analysis as a result of children's learning. Research findings found four effects of using hand puppet learning media in training children's independence, i) caring for the environment, ii) being able to clean themselves, iii) being empathetic and iv) being able to adapt to new environments. Referring to these findings, hand puppet learning media is actually able to change children's independent behavior in everyday life, then teachers can use hand puppet media as a solution to train children's independence through the learning process.

Abstract

The highest goal of education is to make students become perfect person. In Surah An-Nahl verse 78 it is stated that when a child is born, God has provided it with the potential of hearing, sight and heart. This research aims to analyze how this differentiated learning can explore children's potential according to the characteristics of early childhood as viewed from the aspect of Islamic education. This research uses the method literature review with a qualitative approach. Data sources were taken from books and research articles related to this problem. Analysis results from this research that differentiated learning in early childhood is in line with the goals of Islamic education where children's potential based on the hearing, sight and heart that Allah has provided can be honed using a differentiation approach by paying attention to children's interests so that it can be executed through the characteristics of early childhood. Research result It is hoped that it will become an inspiration and reference for Islamic education units at the early childhood level in maximizing the potential of students and can also be used as initial data for future researchers in studying this problem in the context and issues that arise. up to date so you can dig deeper.

Abstract

Teaching materials are an important element in learning. that the role of a teacher in designing or compiling teaching materials really determines the success of the teaching and learning process through teaching materials. This research aims to make it easier for teachers to design learning according to instructional rules to help and support the learning process so that it has its own benefits for teachers in implementing learning. The research method used is literature. The data collection technique was carried out through library research, namely by collecting several articles from journals and books relating to teaching materials in schools. The results of this research are the benefits of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching materials in schools, including: 1) Increasing students' understanding of Islamic values ​​2) Meaningful learning, with interesting teaching materials, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning becomes more meaningful and interesting for students 3) Cognitive Development, material that is adapted to students' cognitive development can improve the ability to think carefully, critically, logically and systematically 4) Application in real life, contextual teaching materials and form good and responsible character answer 5) Creativity and Innovation, Developing creative and innovative teaching materials can increase creativity on the part of both educators and students in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI).

Abstract

The routine task of educators is to maintain the continuity of the learning process from the first minutes to the final seconds of learning. During learning, learning accidents may suddenly occur, such as students lacking focus, tending to ignore educators, and being indifferent. So that learning competency is not achieved and students' motivation is lost in participating in learning. The apperception scene setting method makes the first minutes of learning more enjoyable and can organize the condition of students so that they love learning Islamic religious education. This research aims to create appropriate methods for the Islamic religious education learning process to create a learning process that is conducive and enjoyable for students. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analysis approach. The research subjects were students of class VII and class VIII of the Padang City Integrated Islamic Junior high school, Islamic Religious education teachers, and class teachers. There are two research instruments, namely the main instrument and supporting instruments. The data collection techniques used were listening to story books, short learning videos, youtube. Then identify the data sources related to Islamic Religious education learning materials. Research results First, the use of the apperception method in a scene-setting can motivate students to learn Islam. Second, the use of the apperception method scene setting creates a conducive and enjoyable learning process at the beginning of learning. The apperception method process scene setting found several examples of apperception scene settings used by educators, namely Islamic Religious education teachers.

Abstract

The current young generation needs to preserve Minangkabau culture, especially students who are still in school. The method used to preserve Minangkabau culture is to preserve local wisdom. This program of activities held at each level of education is routinely carried out involving students and teachers at the school. This research aims to observe tips on speaking kato nan ampek in the Minangkabau language, politeness in speaking, learning Minangkabau Natural Culture as a generational breaker, and traditional Minangkabau cultural clothing. This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The author used observation techniques before the research was carried out, then carried out an interview protocol with students and teachers at the school and completed the evidence with documentation of activities in the field. The research results found in this study were that teachers taught students how to use kato nan ampek for students, speak good words, and also use Minang language with Minang language every day.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of Islamic religious education on early childhood development. Childhood is a good and conducive period for implementing and instilling Islamic religious education to prepare for life in the future. Islamic religious education for children in Kindergarten (TK) plays an important role in forming their moral foundation, religious values, and character development from an early age. This article aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education in Kindergarten (TK), focusing on important aspects in understanding how Islamic religious teaching is applied to early childhood. The findings show that the importance of Islamic religious education at an early age is to form a strong foundation in understanding religious values, ethics, morals and spirituality which will help them face various challenges in the future. With proper implementation, Islamic religious education in Kindergarten (TK) can make a major contribution in shaping the character of children who have noble character and have a solid understanding of Islamic religious teachings. Therefore, Islamic religious education must be implemented in kindergarten. In this research the author wants to analyze the implementation of Islamic religious education in Raudhatu Anfhal (RA) Baitur Rahman.

Abstract

Under Dutch and Japanese colonialism, Islamic education had different characteristics because the two colonialists had different approaches to religion and education. This research aims to identify each characteristic of Islamic education during the Dutch and Japanese colonial periods. This research uses a qualitative method with a content analysis approach to journal articles, books, and related documents, including articles published in 2019-2024. This approach aims to identify patterns and themes in Islamic education in Indonesia during the Dutch and Japanese colonial periods. The results of this research are that during the Dutch period, Islamic education experienced strict control and discrimination, while during the Japanese era, there was slightly more freedom. However, it was still under supervision and used for Japanese interests. Nevertheless, Islamic education still plays an important role in maintaining religious identity and nationalism, as well as being part of the struggle for Indonesian independence.

Abstract

Implementing a full-day school is one way to overcome the problems of the current moral crisis and plays a significant role in forming religious character. Religious character is essential to balance life in this world and the afterlife. This research aims to analysed management effectiveness in full-day schools in forming students' religious character. The research is qualitative with a case study approach. All data was obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data sources were taken from fifteen informants through in-depth interviews selected using techniques of purposive sampling. All data was analysed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model data analysis techniques for data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The findings of this research indicate that the management of full-day school forming students' religious character includes several steps, including planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning in management full-day school includes three stages, namely articulating the vision and goals, adapting to changing times, and disciplining students through punishment and reward, the latter implements planning through learning methods and models that are appropriate to the student's situation and conditions. Implementation management full-day School has staged in the form of implementation of learning activities, extracurricular activities, and habituation activities. Evaluation management in full-day school is carried out to assess and improve programs that are deemed to need improvement with the context evaluation stage, the program is appropriate, input evaluation, process evaluation, and product evaluation. Students' religious character can be formed through the management full day school which is proven by students' behaviour that depicts religious values.

Abstract

one such remarkable feature is the culture found in Indonesia. Indonesian culture is unique and diverse, often referred to as multicultural. This study aims to explore and identify the advantages of a multicultural society in the context of Islamic education based on the Qur'an and Hadith, particularly in terms of tolerance, justice, and mutual respect between groups. This study uses a qualitative method with a library approach. Data sources are taken from articles. Data is collected using Miles Huberman's analysis technique. The results of this study show that diversity is a national treasure that should be appreciated, with each group having its own uniqueness and characteristics. It is hoped that diversity will bring about peace. This study points to the need to adjust the Islamic Religious Education curriculum to emphasize multicultural values derived from the Qur'an and Hadith, such as respect for diversity, tolerance, and justice.
