<![CDATA[Character development in students is one of the main targets of elementary school education, emphasizing not only students’ thinking and intellectual abilities but also the expansion of attitudes and behaviors. Social Studies (IPS) learning plays a strategic role in this process because the material presented is directly related to students’ daily social lives. This article aims to analyze how daily activity-based social studies learning can be used as an effective means of character development for elementary school students. The method used is a reading list by reviewing various scientific publications and books. Observations reveal that the application of real-life activities, such as reciprocal cooperation, group discussions, social simulations, and habituation in the school environment, can foster personality qualities such as obedience, mutual cooperation, honesty, obligation, truthfulness, and collective awareness more optimally. This approach also promotes active student involvement in the learning process so that the values learned are not only understood academically but also practiced in daily activities. Therefore, daily activity-based social studies lessons can be an effective strategy to support the strengthening of moral guidance in elementary schools.]]>
