<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the form of legal protection for child victims of sexual violence and its implementation in East Kolaka Regency. This study uses normative legal methods with a legislative approach and a case approach, supported by primary and secondary legal materials through literature studies. The results of the study show that legal protection of children normatively has been expressly regulated in various laws and regulations, especially Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection which contains prohibitions and sanctions against perpetrators of sexual violence. However, in its implementation in East Kolaka Regency, there are still various obstacles, including low public awareness, lack of environmental supervision, and lack of optimal prevention efforts. Therefore, it can be concluded that legal protection for children’s victims of sexual violence has not been running optimally and still tends to be reactive, so it is necessary to strengthen the prevention system through the active role of the government, community, and family to create a safe environment for children.]]>
