This study aims to identify and analyze the values of character education embedded in Qur’anic verses concerning noble morals through a thematic (maudhu’i) approach. The method employed is qualitative-descriptive with content analysis techniques applied to relevant Qur’anic verses, supported by interpretations from classical and contemporary tafsir literature. The findings indicate that the Qur’an contains essential character values such as honesty (ṣidq), patience (ṣabr), trustworthiness (amānah), humility (tawadhu’), compassion (rahmah), discipline, responsibility, independence, tolerance, simplicity, and social concern. These values are not merely normative but are highly applicable in educational contexts, particularly in shaping individuals of integrity, empathy, and autonomy. The implementation of Qur’an-based character education in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) and modern educational institutions demonstrates its effectiveness in cultivating virtuous character among students. Hence, Qur’anic moral values can serve as a foundational framework for developing a holistic, transformative, and contextually relevant character education curriculum.
