Globalization and modernization require the Indonesian education system to reform its curriculum by emphasizing not only cognitive achievement but also the development of students’ character and spirituality. The current national curriculum still prioritizes academic outcomes, while moral and spiritual dimensions have not been systematically integrated. This study aims to analyze the potential of Islamic educational philosophy as a conceptual framework for curriculum reform toward holistic and sustainable education. This research employs a qualitative approach based on a literature review of classical and contemporary Islamic philosophical works, particularly the thoughts of al-Ghazali and al-Farabi. Data are analyzed using comparative analysis and contextual hermeneutic interpretation. The findings indicate that Islamic educational philosophy offers strategic principles, including the integration of knowledge and religion, strengthening character education, holistic educational approaches, and balanced educational objectives encompassing intellectual, moral, and spiritual dimensions.
