Hadith, as the second primary source of Islamic teachings after the Qur'an, plays a significant role in guiding the religious life of Muslims. The rapid development of digital media has made access to hadith easier, but it has also increased the risk of disseminating hadith without proper verification of their authenticity. This article aims to examine the concept of thematic hadith and its method of study, analyze the sanad and matan in determining the quality of hadith, describe scholars' perspectives in explaining hadith, and explain the benefits of the thematic approach in understanding hadith. This study employed a qualitative method using a library research approach by analyzing relevant literature. The findings indicate that the thematic hadith method provides a systematic understanding of specific topics by integrating sanad and matan analysis to determine hadith quality. Furthermore, this method is supported by various scholarly approaches to hadith interpretation, resulting in a more comprehensive, contextual, and relevant understanding of Islamic teachings
