This community service activity addressed the limited capacity of PKK women to sort and process household organic waste at the neighborhood level. It aimed to improve participants' knowledge and practical skills in organic-inorganic waste sorting and household-scale composting. The activity involved 15 PKK members in one neighborhood unit in Padalarang, West Bandung Regency, through preparation, socialization and pre-test, hands-on sorting and composting practice, mentoring, and post-test evaluation. Data were collected using a 10-item knowledge questionnaire and field observation notes, then analyzed descriptively. The mean knowledge score increased from 49.7 in the pre-test to 82.0 in the post-test. Participants also learned to address composting problems, including odor, excess moisture, and larvae, by improving aeration, turning the compost mixture, and adding dry materials. The program indicates that PKK women can be strengthened as household waste managers through practical training and short-term mentoring. Further activities should include longer follow-up and replication across other neighborhood units
