<![CDATA[This study aims to examine the effect of church congregational social support on the psychological well-being of families affected by mental disorders in Makassar City. The background of this research is grounded in the growing complexity of mental health challenges within urban families, which are often accompanied by social stigma, relational isolation, and limited access to psychosocial support. Under such conditions, church communities may function as social networks that provide emotional, social, and spiritual support to affected families. This research employed a quantitative approach, with data collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 350 church congregants. The instrument was designed to measure the level of congregational social support and the psychological well-being of families in an operationalized manner. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression to assess the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The results revealed a significance value of 0.000, which is below the 0.05 threshold, with a positive t-value of 7.697. These findings indicate that higher levels of congregational social support are associated with improved psychological well-being among families experiencing mental health problems. Congregational support operates as a psychosocial resource that assists families in maintaining emotional stability and relational functioning amid persistent psychological stressors.]]>
