<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the implementation of shariah compliance at Bank Muamalat Ponorogo, focusing on the application of sharia principles, the supporting and inhibiting factors of its implementation, and its impact on public trust. This research uses a qualitative, descriptive method. Data were obtained from primary and secondary sources through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation conducted at Bank Muamalat Ponorogo Branch. Data analysis techniques were carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested using source triangulation. The results of the study indicate that Shariah compliance implementation at Bank Muamalat Ponorogo has not been optimally carried out. Inconsistencies were found in transactional and institutional sharia aspects, particularly regarding the transparency of murabahah contracts and the ownership of transaction objects. In addition, limited human resources with Sharia competence hinder the customer education process, leading to negative perceptions and a decline in public trust in Islamic banks.]]>
