This study analyzes the implementation of the Community Service Program (KKN) by State Islamic University of North Sumatra in Sempajaya Village, Berastagi District, Karo Regency with the theme "Strengthening the Role of Higher Education to Create Advanced Society with Islamic Values" conducted in August 2025. The method employed was a participatory approach involving direct observation, in-depth interviews, and implementation of community-based programs. The KKN program encompassed three main categories: flagship programs (religious moderation, pro-environmental behavior, and economic empowerment), supplementary programs (educational and religious mentoring), and supporting programs (health, mutual cooperation, and social community activities). Results showed significant improvements in children's learning motivation, community environmental awareness, productive economic skills of housewives, and strengthening of Islamic values among the younger generation. This program successfully created positive synergy between higher education institutions and rural communities in realizing sustainable development based on local and Islamic values. The long-term impact of this program is evident from the community's commitment to continue various activities that have been initiated during the KKN period.
