<![CDATA[This study investigates the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Wordwall media on the descriptive text writing skills of tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 2 Kisaran. The study was motivated by students' low descriptive text writing skills, as evidenced by their difficulty in developing and expressing ideas in written form. This study employed a quantitative experimental research design with a pre-test/post-test control group approach. The sample consisted of 71 tenth-grade students: 36 students in the experimental class (X-7) and 35 students in the control class (X-9). Data were collected through pre-test and post-test instruments and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that: (1) the average pre-test score for descriptive writing skills in the control class was in the poor category; (2) the average post-test score in the experimental class, after the implementation of PBL with Wordwall media, reached the good and very good categories; and (3) there was a statistically significant effect of the PBL model assisted by Wordwall media on students' descriptive text writing skills. These findings suggest that interactive, game-based learning media integrated with problem-based approaches can significantly enhance students' writing competence.]]>
