<![CDATA[This study aims to detemine the effect of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non Performing Loan (NPL) on stock prices in banking companies listed on the IDX in 2017-2021. This type of research is explanatory research which explains the causal relationship between variables by testing the hypothesis. The sample used in this study amouted to 10 companies with purpose sampling method. This test tool uses software eviews 12. From the result of this study it can be concluded that the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR)has no effect on stock prices. Non Performing Loan (NPL) has no effect on stock prices.Simultaneously,Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non Performing Loan (NPL) have no effect on stock Prices.Companies should not accumulate too much funds in the CAR, just reserve the minimum according to the RWA (Risk Weighted Assets) set by Bank Indonesia, which is 8%, the rest of the funds can be invested in assets so that the company's wealth will continue to increase and profitability will also increase so that investors more interested in buying shares.In the banking sector, most investors at this time do not really look at the fundamental analysis but at the technical analysis when deciding or buying stocks.]]>
