The aim of this research is to analyze the role of teachers in improving digital literacy skills in students in the era of independent learning. The method applied in this research is study library research. The research results explain that digital literacy is the ability to observe, study, organize and evaluate information using digital technology. The teacher's role in increasing digital literacy is as a developer, who is expected to be able to design learning content. As a digital system user, teachers first use the digital system they want to use. As a supervisor, be able to teach students how to use digital systems to help students learn. As a facilitator, you can help students who have difficulty learning how to use digital systems. There are many things teachers can do to increase digital literacy among students, including using digital media in learning. Teachers can also work with school libraries to increase students' awareness of the availability of digital resources and can integrate digital skills into subjects. From a pedagogical perspective, good digital literacy plays an important role in fostering children's recognition of good material in certain areas of learning by developing children's curiosity and creativity.]]>
