Natural phenomena such as solar eclipses and earthquakes that have been witnessed so far are facts and realities of events that occur in nature that can be researched and studied scientifically. The type of research used in research is descriptive research and literature review research. Literature study is a method used to collect data or sources. The result is that a disaster is etymologically something that causes and causes distress, loss, suffering, havoc, accident, and can also mean disturbance, temptation and deception. The Koran also tells about natural disasters, almost all stories about disasters are found or told in the Koran. One example of a natural disaster or phenomenon that occurs is a flood. Floods can cause enormous damage or loss if they hit residential areas located in lowlands that have a chance of flooding.
