In this generation, we are certainly no strangers to hearing the term gender or gender equality, where in the contemporary or present era there are many speculations, perspectives and alternatives in discussing this matter. And most of them are definitely women, often their movement is identified with the feminist movement, where they want their rights to be indistinguishable from men’s. Of course, we also hear a lot of issues or other terms that are closely related to gender. What’s interesting here is how Islam has its own perspective on gender and its issues which are certainly based on Muslim guidelines, namely the Qur’an and Hadith.
