Abstract

Adab is the most important part of education which is connected with various things, both regarding personal values, as well as values ​​related to religion which must be learned, understood, believed in behavior. somebody. intention to be. the foundation of character so that the whole person can be realized. In studying thoughts about adab or behavior or behavior of students in the Indonesian language teaching study program and Muslim lifestyle, we used qualitative methods and data analysis methods. In qualitative methods, for example, we store ideas or arguments from various topics and research on the Internet or on websites. Then, the data analysis method is based on topic. Islamic education plays a very important role in improving the character or behavior of students, especially those taking part in Indonesian language learning programs. This discussion explores how character formation through Islamic education can provide a strong foundation for students to develop and contribute to society. Adab is a principle or law relating to good behavior based on religious law. Adab has many functions, such as being able to be responsible for humans, being able to be a civilized and pious person, avoiding arrogance, cultivating a sense of love for Allah, avoiding all bad behavior and getting great rewards.
