Abstract

Sharia economics is also known as Islamic economics. Sharia economics is an economic system based on Islamic sharia values and principles, which includes aspects of production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. This article also explains the text analysis method used to understand sharia economic issues, the results of discussion of economic theories and concepts in Islam, the potential of sharia economics in Indonesia, and the challenges faced. In addition, this article compares Islamic economics with conventional economics, especially in terms of concepts, financial instruments and business practices. The results show that sharia economics offers a different approach, emphasizing the principles of justice, togetherness and piety, while conventional economics tends to focus on maximizing profits. These differences have an impact on the financial instruments used, business practices, and views on free markets.
